This 6 days Victoria Falls and gorilla tracking safari Luxury Tour combines a safari to Uganda and Zimbabwe and will offer you great views of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, which is one the Seven Wonders of the World. The safari will also take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to endangered mountain gorillas. Day 1: Arrival at Victoria Falls Airport – Transfer to Victoria Falls Hotel

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls airport, you welcomed by a representative and transferred to Victoria Falls Hotel, Zimbabwe’s oldest hotel luxury hotel. You will check in and at 1530hrs, you will head out to Zambwezi River for a relaxing and beautiful sunset cruise as you enjoy different snacks and beverages. During the cruise, look out for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and lots of birds

At 7pm, you will go for a classically-elegant Edwardian-style dinner in the Livingstone Room. Which was totally refurbished in 2013, and opens only for dinner, featuring a la carte and table d’hôte menus. Keep in mind that the dress code is smart casual, sleeved collared shirt and closed shoes for men for the convenience of guests in this more relaxed modern era. Strictly no safari wear, shorts, sandals or sneakers.

Victoria Falls Hotel (Luxury) is a famous hotel in Zimbawe and was opened in 1907. The hotel has wonderful grounds and great views of the bridge and the Victoria Falls, and is perfect for travellers interested in colonial old style. The rooms are beautiful with air condition and the high tea and the Livingstone dining room are one of the highlights

Day 2: Guided Victoria Falls Tour – Boma Dinner

Today at 9am, you will be transferred to the Victoria Falls starting point for your guided tour of the Victoria Falls at different viewing points. You will come really close to the falls, take in the views, feel the thunderous sounds from the falls, get kissed by its mist and enjoy ongoing views during the trail. You will have great photo opportunities too to keep your everlasting memories.

Helicopter ride over the falls
Helicopter rides over the Victoria Falls are the only view point where you can visually take in all the Victoria Falls offer the most breath taking magnificent views. You will have the bird eye’s view and this aerial view is unforgettable. Clients will pay on site for this activity
At 7pm tonight, you will go for a delicious buffet dinner at the Boma Restaurant where you will enjoy Zimbabwe cuisine that includes tasting the Morpane worm. You will be entertained by the locals as you go about your dinner.

Day 3: Airport Transfer to Uganda.

Today, you will be transferred to Victoria airport for your flight to Uganda, the pearl of Africa. Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be met by a representative of Gorilla Link Tours who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala.

Emin Pasha is a very private high end boutique hotel located in the heart of Kampala, close to the busy city centre.
The hotel has a wonderful garden full with flowers, palm trees and of course a swimming pool. All rooms decorated differently and the hotel offers an African/colonial atmosphere and all the luxury a traveller needs. The hotel restaurant offers a mix between continental and Indian food.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Today after early breakfast at 7am, you r guide will pick you up from your hotel. And transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Which is home to half of the world’s endangered mountain Gorillas. The journey is long but you will have stopovers and a lunch break, and because this part of the country is very beautiful with rolling hills and local activities going on, you will not notice how long the Journey is. Your first stopover will be at the Uganda Equator for photographs and tea break. You will be able to stand in two hemispheres at the same.
You will then proceed with your journey to Bwindi, and in Mbarara town, you will have en route lunch.
After lunch you will continue to the Impenetrable Forest, arriving at the lodge in time for dinner and overnight

Sanctuary Gorilla Forest camp is a high end and only luxury camp within Bwindi Impenetrable forest. The camp is the best base from which to start the gorilla trek and offers guests an unrivalled location, including the best bird and wildlife viewing in the Bwindi. Gorilla Forest Camp often receives regular visits from the mountain gorillas

Day 5: Mountain Gorilla Tracking

Today is the special day when you will come up close and personal with the famous and giant mountain gorillas of black backs, silverbacks, juveniles and babies. Coming face to face with these gentle looking apes is one of the most unforgettable memorable experience. And you will never be able to explain your experience. It is a once in a lifetime experience.

Your guide will transfer you to the briefing area where gorilla tracking briefing takes place before you head out to the forest to track a particular mountain gorilla family. Gorilla tracking may take 2 hours to a full day depending on where the gorillas nested the previous night. When you finally locate them, listening to the instructions of your guide, you will spend 1 hour with them, observing how they eat, and how they interact with each other. Remember to follow the gorilla tracking rules at all times.

You will have your packed lunch away from the gorillas, return to the park offices for a small ceremony before returning to your camp for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Transfer back to Entebbe or fly out Via Kigali

Today after early breakfast, you will transfer back to Entebbe airport for your flight back home with en route lunch.
Accommodation for tonight not included. Let us know if we should book one night or more
Alternative Route: Instead of driving back to Entebbe airport on a long journey, you can fly out from Kigali via Katuna boarder
