This 1 Day rhino tracking tour will take you to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary in Uganda, where you will be able to spot rhinos on foot. The rhino sanctuary is 7,000 hectares with Savannah and wooden vegetation species. Apart from white rhinos, the sanctuary is a habitat to many other animals. That include bush bucks, reedbucks, monkeys, oribis among others, countless birds that include a shoebill stork and reptiles.

1 Day Rhino Tracking tour Itinerary
Today after your early breakfast, your guide from Gorilla Link Tours will pick you up from you hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and transfer you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary located on 176 km (100 miles) on Kampala – Gulu Highway in Nakasongola.
Upon arrival at the sanctuary, you will be briefed by your ranger guide about the history of Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and all you need to know about the tracking. You will then start your 2-3 hours trek into the wild sanctuary where you will have a chance to view rhinos at a close but safe distance. Look out for other wild and bird life. The trek time depends on where the rhinos are.
After the rhino trek, you will return to the canteen, have your warm lunch and drinks, relax a bit and after, you will be transferred back to Kampala or Entebbe reaching in the evening.
