Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to a domestic flight or drive to Amboseli National Park, depending on your preference.
By Air: If you choose a flight, you will arrive at Amboseli airstrip where you will be met by your lodge’s representative and transferred to your lodge, such as Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Tortilis Camp.
By Road: If you prefer to drive, the journey to Amboseli takes approximately 4-5 hours. You’ll travel through beautiful landscapes and arrive at your lodge for check-in and lunch.
In the afternoon, set off on your first game drive in Amboseli, renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for a full day of game viewing in Amboseli National Park. The park is famous for its elephant herds, but you will also see a variety of wildlife including giraffes, lions, and numerous bird species.
Take a break for a picnic lunch in the park or return to your lodge for lunch. Afterward, continue with your game drive. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and head towards Lake Nakuru National Park. This drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, passing through scenic landscapes.
Upon arrival, check into your lodge, such as Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge, and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on a game drive around Lake Nakuru, known for its flamingos, rhinos, and a variety of other wildlife. Lake Nakuru is also a great place for birdwatching, with over 400 bird species recorded.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours.
Upon arrival, check into your luxury camp, such as Governors’ Camp or Mara Serena Safari Lodge, and have lunch.
In the afternoon, go on your first game drive in the Maasai Mara. This iconic reserve known for its rich wildlife and the possibility of witnessing the Great Migration (seasonal, usually from July to October). Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Spend a full day exploring Maasai Mara. Begin with an early morning game drive to maximize your chances of seeing predators and other wildlife. Return to your camp for a hearty breakfast.
In the afternoon, continue with a game drive or visit a local Maasai village to experience the culture and traditions of the Maasai people.
Return to your camp for dinner and overnight. If interested, you may opt for a hot air balloon ride (optional and at additional cost) for a unique aerial view of the Mara.

Day 6: Maasai Mara to Nairobi – Departure
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Maasai Mara. This is a great opportunity to capture any wildlife or scenes you might have missed.
Return to your camp for brunch. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, you will be met and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight or to your Nairobi hotel if you are staying longer.
